We’re thrilled to speak to disability rights activist, Marijeta Mojasevic about life with disability. After surviving two strokes when she was in high school, Marijeta Mojasevic’s life changed dramatically. Having experienced physical and psychological effects, many of which she still lives with today, Mojasevic now works as a youth adviser and disability rights activist.

She uses her voice to challenge attitudes and behaviours toward people with neurological disorders. She designed workshops called Life With Disability, where she draws upon her own experiences to help challenge prejudice. Marijeta is an ambassador for OneNeurology, an initiative that aims to make neurological conditions a global public health priority.
